2021 Summer Sessions
During the Summer Sessions, all that participated learned how to make their own website. Everyone was from different schools in the TUHSD district and learned virtually with weekly Discord meets. Their websites implemented the coordination of HTML and JavaScript to beautify and share their concepts of interests with each other. Though at times frustrating, it all ended up really well with the help of google, the President: Tishya, Vice President: Siri, and everyone's contributions.
2021 District-Wide Hackathon
In 2021 the Corona del Sol GWC officers organized our first Hackathon event! Open to any student across the TUHSD, the event consisted of level-specific challenges that could be completed in groups or individually. This event could not have been possible without the help of our mentors, judges, and presenters. The winners of each category won awesome prizes and all participants left with increased coding experience! For more info on how Hackathons work check out our page on the 2021 event!
